We saw some cool new products released this week. One is a new net and one is a hat. Let us tell you about them.
Streamwalker Nets
Our friend Leif up in Rochester, NY never ceases to impress us with his nets. They are classy looking nets that live up to being used. We picked up one of his "Lakerun" nets this past season and used it extensively, including traveling to some Western US rivers. These nets are the real deal. Leif sources local maple and black walnut to handcraft some really solid nets. They feature clear rubber net bags so as to be as friendly to this fish as possible. This new model, the "Trophy Trouter," is designed for those who target some big trout! It is designed to fit in between the "Inland" and "Lakerun" models. Check out Leif and his nets at his website. Tell him we sent you.
RepYourWater
RepYourWater is a really cool apparel company who many of you may already know. They make some really cool hats and other apparel, which feature creative designs. They partner with many TU groups and other conservation minded groups and split some of the proceeds with them. This week they released a BTT Permit Hat. This hat not only looks great, but 10% each purchase goes to Bonefish and Tarpon Trust and you get a complimentary membership to BTT. The hat costs only $25. Head over to RYW and pick one up.
The weekend is here, well close enough, so get out and explore some new stretches of waters.
