Inevitably the gear we buy will break or just wear out over time. That leaves us wondering what to buy.
This is exactly the predicament I find myself in currently. My beloved Patagonia wading boots are giving out after many years of faithful service. It's time to see what the market had to offer now. It's a good place to be though. The market has never had so many good quality choices for gear. While it is still legal to wear felt soles in my home waters, I want to get something which will allow me to travel and fish wherever I wish.
